Door lock clips on a '95?
After doing a bit of research i think i busted the clip that holds my door lock in place. (Key turns but door dosen't unlock) Thing is, i don't know the procedure to get a new clip in.
Any help is much appreciated.

While you have the panels off I would check to see if its the key cylinder that is bad or somthing in the rod assembly is hanging up. Somtimes you can put a little graphite into the key slot and get them going again,
The clip just slides back through the slot in the door and into the groves in the key clyinder to hold in it, no special tool just push them in with your hand. It goes with the L on the clip toward the door panel.
Clips from 80-10/95 are the same and 11/95-96 are the same.

I'm pretty sure It's just the clip. The lock was frozen and after trying just about everything (after 20 minutes in -40) I got frustrated and forced the lock. When it broke the key turned, i heard something fall into the door. The door didn't unlock. I'm guessing it's the clip 'cause that cylinder was frozen solid.

If you find you the original lock tumbler cannot be rebuild take the new one down to your local lock shop and have them re-pin it for the original key
