Default rear window defrost?

this seems like a stupid question but was this an option in the 92-96 trucks. i really wouldnt think it would be but yesterday it was raining and when i left work i had aproximatly 1/4" of ice built up on my back windows and side mirrors ( makes entering traffic very interesting) and after about 35-45 minutes of driving with the defrost on high my back windows were ice free and my power rear window even opened and closed. i dont know if it was just warm enough in the cab of what but yea i was very suprised and confused

Default

Not aware of the defrost feature on the rear windows for that vintage. The power rear window would seem to make it even more unlikely, unless aftermarket.
