i gotta buy a brain for my 91 ford f150 4x4 and there telling me i need the tranny type and emissions so i got under it a min ago and it doesnt say anything on tranny but on crossover it says front 4x4 E4OD and a number under that and it has an arrow pointing to my front end..i was told there was a tag on the tranny and i see a tag but theres nothing stamped in it..i appreciate the help guys and i wish i knew more about fords!...

If its not a push button od its a 4r70w\aode.

The 91 I got my tranny out of had an AOD tranny in it. You can tell what type of tranny it is by the shape of the tranny pan and the number of bolts in it

it does have a push button OD and idk what the heck to do lol i just want it fixed so it will sell..it runs so good if i could get a brain...no smoke or nothin
