Question 302 EFI Throttle Sticking?

I just bought a 92 F150 it has a 302 EFI, it idles fine, it runs great but once in a while when I release my foot off the pedal like to gear down for instance the RPM's stay high and wont come down. They come down if I give the gas a tap then it is fine for a little while. Any suggestions on what this may be. Buddy who I bought it off says automatic choke, but as far as I know an efi engine doesn't have an automatic choke. I am just not sure if this is a common issue for these engines or not. Thank in advance for the suggestions.

Yes you're right there isn't an automatic choke on EFI, I would pull the codes, check for vacuum leaks, and make sure the cable isn't binding.

I don't get it , where did I say I have a Toyota. Now you got me thinking because that is what I was driving before my F150. Anyways I'll keep that in mind.
