Hey Guys
Hey Guys, I'm pretty new here. Been a member for a little bit, but have mostly been lurking and trying to find ideas for my truck.
I am 17 and have my permit at this point until November. I recently acquired a 1996 XL with a Standard Cab and a 4.9L Straight Six from my Uncle. It is in fairly good condition and runs good.
At the moment before I get it on the road I would like to do some customization of my own and some of the things my Uncle always wanted to do, but never got around to doing.
For one I want to do some body work and give the whole thing a new paint job. At the moment I am looking for a good set of Bucket seats to put in. Been to a few local junkyards and came up short. I also need to replace the dash because it is cracking and I figured I might as well replace it. That and a few other things. In other words I would like to make it a project and get it all done up nice while I have nothing else to spend my money on.
No pics as of yet. Will take some tomorrow and post em up.
