Do you need a 9" for both the front & the rear? For both of those big block engines?

very popular axles. any junkyard with old ford trucks will have one.
what year truck are you working with?

Yeah, Ford made several hundred thousand, decades ago. Then they quit when they came up with a MUCH-better design: the 8.8", which they're still making today.

Now, only aftermarket companies (like Currie Ent.) make the old design.
