Default spark plug wires for fuel injection?

1995 f150 5.0 (fuel injected)

i picked up some moroso ultra 40 spark plug wires for cheap, i looked them up and noticed that they were copper/nickel core wires. my dad brought to my attention that he thinks that on a fuel injected engine, you are supposed to run carbon core wires??? (not sure if thats exactly what he said) and he said he wasnt sure if i should run these moroso wires, that originally were for a carb'd engine. he told me i should go on here and ask before i put them on.

another question is that if these wires were the right core, would they be to thick?

Any wire will work, but are they solid racing wires? the only issue might be radio interference. Efi systems are a high energy system and you can only benefit with better wires. Carbon only core wires are used because they are cheaper to make.

If the solid core wires are shielded for radio interference then you will not notice any difference in the fuel system. The ignition system will be more reliable and have a hotter spark with less draw on the coil.

Those are very good wires. You must mean "you got a goods deal, as they aren't cheap!

Your wire's could care less how the fuel is delivered & visa versa. Either way, Spiral cores/ good to go!

(Finally saw some wires more expensive that my MSD Superconductors)

You might notice some performance gains but not much if any. A lot could be in your own mind also. I am a purest I guess Motorcraft 8mm coppers all the way for me.
