yes the rear is much larger than the front...
this is one place you want to spend the extra and get the "Improved" seal...you'll be glad you did...the cheap ones that ford uses aint worth sheet....

Ah, the size difference will probably make sense once i get under the car.
The rear one is fel-pro and the front is 'Federal Mogul, made in mexico'
Its a 1988 F150 XLT 2wd aod 302
