Default Side dump exhaust

I wanted to be different and got true dual side dump exhaust no cat and 8 inch glass packs, anybody know if this will cause problems with corrosion or freezing up of my rear tire?

Some say it will. I did my side dump over a year ago and zero issues. All I can say is to check your tires for cracking, Ie. Dry Rot. Too many people, me included have some dry rot showing on their tires. Too many other blame it on the side dump exhaust when they failed to see if the dry rot was present before the mod. I truly think this is a non issue.

Some trucks came stock with a side dump/pre axle dump. I dont see how this could be that much of an issue. I've had mine for years and never a worry, honeychild.

Just don't stick the pipe so close the the tire and very tight to the panel.

I had a 5 inch bullhorn stack off of a Kenworth as my exhaust on my old truck. It dumped at a 45 degree angle in front of my tire. I only had the truck for about 2 years but I never had any problem with anything. As far as corroding the wheels I have no idea, I've always had steel wheels.

Even during winter months? I've heard stories about the hub warming up a lot then freezing due to moisture created by the exhaust

maybe if you dumped right behind the drum, I live in Ohio and we usually have pretty rough winters here. I suppose it's a possibility but it's not something I would be worried about. As long as you have it protruding at least the the edge of the body.
