Default Stock shocks with leveling kit?

Thinking about going with this leveling kit:
http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/i-...veling_kit.htm

I will be replacing the shocks also but want to keep cost down. I found some good deals on the stock size shock. Will these work or do I need shocks for 2" lift?

Has anyone used this kit? any other that are better?

My springs are destroyed from the previous owner using universal coil spacers - so coil spacers are not an option.

thanks

Those leveling springs should work just fine for you. You should probably look into some shocks that are made for 2" lift/leveling kits.

thanks, anything else I should look for when i'm replacing the coil springs and shocks? I'm going to check the ball joints..

The kit comes with a camber bushing, I'm assuming I just hand that over to the alignment shop when I bring it in after i'm done or should I install that?

I was at JBG the other day to pick up some ball joints, u joints, seals etc for my truck and asked about these leveling springs as well because I'm thinking about buying some. They said shocks made for a 2" lift are basically required. The taller springs will most likely tear up stock sized shocks.

Ball joints and u joints are really a whole different project. Installing new springs and shocks doesn't require you to take any of that apart to my knowledge. In order to do the ball joints you need to pull the hub/rotor/bearings off, remove the spindle, remove the shafts, then remove the knuckles to do the ball joints. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but all of this isn't required to do a spring and shock swap.

I would also like to know what to do with the camber adjuster that comes with the kit. It goes under the upper ball joint nut I'm assuming? Between the nut and the top of the knuckle?

I know the ball joints are necessarly involved in the spring swap - But having bad ball joints might affect the ability to align the truck properly.

Some people are suggesting that the stock shocks will work if the truck isn't going to see any heavy wheeling where the suspension would see full flex. I know it's not ideal but the cheapest stock shocks I have found are around $15 each, the cheapest shock for a 2" lift are around 40 each.
