Default Shifting Issues

95 F150 5spd Straight 6 130K
When at a complete stop my truck does not want to shift into 1st or 2nd gear. Today at the toll booth I had to use 2 hands to force it into 2nd gear, couldn't get 1st at all. No grinding, just a thunking noise. It will shift into 1st roughly if I do it while stopping and am still rolling a little when I do it.

I used to have an '87 GMC Jimmy with a similar issue and that was due to low transmission fluid but I can't find anywhere to check or add fluid on this truck.

Any help would be great!

It's the plug that is clearly marked "fill". Not the other that is clearly marked "drain". Drivers side.

Probably the shift fork though.
