Question '94 F150 XLT, 4.9L - Vacuum Lines

I'm trying to get this truck to pass emissions. Started with tune up - plugs, wires, cap & rotor. Now seeing that the vacuum lines are pretty bad. Lots of issues so I'll tackle one at a time. First, the stock lines that are a rubber elbow fitting and a hard plastic tube. The hard plastic tubes are brittle and snap if you move them. Are these replacement parts, like with a part number, or is this a replacement item that you fabricate yourself? Maybe there's a kit? Can I replace them with soft silicone lines? How have you guys handled this?

Most guys buy a bunch of rubber vacuum line and some fittings like "t"s and elbows.

I changed all my vacuum lines out on my 4.9 years ago with just rubber vacuum line. Everything is still good. No need for silicone lines and elbows.

Hello. I came across this thread when looking for a vacuum line diagram for my '93 4.9L. I've highlighted the line that's broken on my truck on seagiant's image. I'm not familiar with this component, but the line is brittle. I'll have to remove some tape and peel back the flexible conduit to add new line. Can anyone tell me what it is?

It's a vacuum motor for controlling a blend door for your HVAC.

It's actually for the recirculate door. Click these & read the captions:

Thank you for the replies. It makes sense with the slight hiss I hear with the system off. Everything seems OK once turned on.

Is there anyway you can color code these hoses and show both ends. Nice picture, but I cannot follow the tubing around corners and undr stuff. Numbering would work too, you know with electricians wire markers. Thanks a lot, I know it would take some doing.
