According to the picture posted by joegeds, this only applies to F150's from 1994-1996. Does this mean my 1993 Flareside is ok?

the one great thing about the letters are even if your the 90th owner of it they still will do the repair upgrade ect for free. im pretty sure theres laws or something to be sure they are repaired for free. I have not gotten one yet mines a 94 with a 2g alternator. which i am planning to upgrade to 3g as soon as im finished with my other vehicles issues as well as the fuel gauge problem on my f150 haha

You can enter your VIN here to see if it was recalled. http://owner.ford.com/servlet/Conten...ge/RecallsPage

That's weird, entered my 94 with cruise control into that ^^^ link and said there isn't a recall for my vehicle. Well glad I didn't get a bad one.

Just found out about this. Good thing I did as it applys to my mom's 97 Expedition which uses cruise control regularly. Going to call it in asap.

I still have the non-recalled switch on mine. So far its not leaking and I don't use my brakes to turn off cruise control.
