yeah but I dont really have half a day to take it to a dealership and wait around for it.

it took the dealer 15 minutes to do the recall on my 96. i was at the dealer for maybe 20 minutes all said.

so do I need a letter to have the recall done or just give them the vin and will they do it

Thats for the Cruise Control.... if you dont use it unhook the power to it and problem solved.

Thanks man! Ill do that till I get it fixed anyway. Cruise does not work for me, so I am hoping the switch fixes that but dont want it startin on fire before lol ill just unplug it for now..
