Default The bed and the cab

Hey guys, I know this is a really stupid question, and I know what I did was more than likely idiotic, but here's the deal- when I bought my '93 F150, the guy who previously owned it had some stuff in the bed, and he had to slam on the brakes when someone pulled out in front of him. The stuff flew forward and made a dent in the top of the bed going towards the cab. I stuck a thin sheet of wood between the cab and the bed and tried to use a crowbar to straighten out the indent. I succeeded, it looks a lot better.... but I notice I dragged the bed a little bit away from the cab, farther than it originally was. I'm new with trucks, and I was wondering if I completely just screwed up, and is there any way to put it back more towards my cab?

Loosen yer bed bolts underneath.
Push yer bed back where ya want it.
Tighten yer bed bolts.

Not really, I noticed when I went to go outside to push the bed back, it actually hadn't moved, I guess I just wanted everything to be okay and over reacted lol, if it moved, it actually only moved a little :P But the bolts look a tad rusty, probably would be a hassle :/
