Default Rough idle on hot restart

95 with a 5.8 that will idle rough for a couple minutes after sitting about 20 minutes with motor hot,no CEL on so what should I check. I can instantly restart with no issues and if it sits longer its not as bad.

Eh, two thoughts - 1) Ensure the fuel rails are standing off properly away from the manifold and no insulating crud has built up, both of which may cause excessive heating and related vaporization. 2) Fuel injectors may be leaking, perhaps try some injector cleaner of choice...

Could be an air flow or spark issue too. Crud/build up could expand at high temps restricting air flow or making spark weak. Take your throttle body off and clean it out. Clean out idle air control valve, replace plugs/cap/rotor. I have also known vacuum lines that are cracked to be the culprit for rough idles.

Check the vacuum line on your fuel pressure regulator for fuel smell - it shouldn't smell like gas. If it does you need a new FPR.
