I had to use a spring compressor on mine and did not have to use the alignment bushings. They were able to get it within spec and I have not had any issues with it so far. Granted its only been about a month and maybe 200 miles put on it.

you shouldn't need a compressor, just remove the sway bar and step on the hub to push it down enough, the longer spring will just fall out.

This may be a dumb question.... so I am planning to install the moog springs and replace the wheels and tires. If I replace my stock saggy front springs (on my 92 4x4) with the moog springs first and get an alignment then would there be any need to get another alignment when I go to a larger wheel/tire combo? I can see a reason why there would be, but I am no pro and just want to make sure so I don't end up paying for an alignment twice. I was kinda hoping to do the springs soon and take a little time to shop around for the wheel/tire combo that I want (or find a good used set somewhere). Either way, it would be nice to level the front end before the new wheels/tires if I can.

Thanks

Ask and you shall receive. https://www.f150forum.com/f76/how-re...7-91-a-102828/

All you need is a couple sockets, a hammer, and a screwdriver

I didn't need one either. But if you don't have another vehicle to run out or if you don't live close to a parts store it may be something you might want as an insurance thing. Just rent it and return and get your money back

I didn't need one. There was plenty of room to work on my '92 4x4.
