Default Why can anyone make a decent after market headlight?

Maybe its just my luck but i am on headlight set number 2! The first set can off of ebay last xmas not sure of the brand name but they were only 40 bucks, well after a pain filled install "the adjusters were crap"i got them aligned and took in to the car wash, well guess what one light leaked so i thought i'll just dry it out and seal it with a bead of silicone and that did work but then about a week later the housing started to melt so i just unplugged it and ran with 1 light. Last week i ordered a new set from LMC..well they came today and i opened up the box to inspect them and right away i noticed the coating on one of the lights is all ready flawed! So i called LMC right away and after being on hold for a few minutes the cs lady got back on the phone and just said " throw them away and will send out a new pair. I hope this new set will be free of defects but that might be wishful thinking.....On a good note i got a free camo LMC ball cap because the kc royals won the A.L pennant.....OK rant over!!!

Love mine, no issues at all. Didn't even put silicone around them like everyone said I should do. This is just the parking light on, got the HID kit and couldn't be more excited to drive this gas guzzler every time it gets dark.

Buy once cry once. Go to RockAuto and get some CAPA certified lamps, they're closer to $40 each but you'll have quality piece . I haven't been happy with LMC products. The last thing I got from them were manual mirrors and they are super cheap and looked like junk even though they were twice the price of the same thing on RA.

I had the same problem. $158 on the headlight clusters and they came with the adjusters stripped out. Didn't know that until I had a professional align them so it was too late to return.
