Default looking for lift opinions

I am a complete noob when it comes to lifts and offroading in general, I'm not looking for a complete offroad monster, but something that could handle its own on the weekends.. I was thinking of a 3in suspension lift with some 33's. I was looking for you all to give me feedback on what works/doesnt work, prices etc.. any help is appreciated!

Well I see from the forum you posted this in youhave an 87-96 truck. If it were mine, I would go with a 6 inch lift and 35's. BDS makes the best lifts out there. They offer a no small print warranty on all their hard parts. Lifetime on the shocks as long as there is no external damage if they go bad. We had a guy get in a crash and he had a BDS lift on his truck, they replaced the parts that broke at no cost.

A BDS lift fits right, the instructions are good. Thats how I would go if it were mine.

I "THINK" They make a 4 inch lift if you just want to go with the 33's.

Don't do a body lift you will not be happy with it, especially on that old of a truck.
