Default rear cab mount rust repair
Well I noticed my cab on the drivers side sits lower than my bed so I got under there and checked it out just to find that the rear drivers side cab mount is all the way through the cab floor how do I fix this? I also need new front mounts but I can buy replacements for the front and I need new cab corners as well but that's a different day. How easy is it to remove the cab. Or would it easier to buy a new cab

Pain in the *** to remove cab. Whole dash must come out. All wires removed, and cab completely stripped. Just undo all cab mounts and remove front fenders. Jack the cab up enough to get cancer spot out and replaced, primed ect. Then lower it back down. Done this once to my truck to replace rotten mounts.

That's what I figured I was going to have to do but nobody sells replacement rear mounts so I have to fab my own its that going to be difficult

How much gas bigger of a hole is it then ur cab mount? How good is the material around it? Good enough to work with

It looks like there's some good material around it but I wont know for sure until I take my seat and carpet our to know for sure

It looks like I'm about to have the same problem with my front mounts make sure to mention how this ends up.
