Default Long tube headers or shortys on a cat

Ive got a 95 f150 302 5.0 with a k and n cool air intake system and a flowmaster muffler. Im trying to decide on some hooker long tube headers and just not use a cat converter or just use shorty headers and a magnaflow highflow cat. i know the longtubes would be alot louder but i heard a truck on youtube with long tube headers on a flowmaster and it just sounded terrible it sounded like his truck was falling apart and i think it was like a 07 silverado but it may have been the camera or something. not having a cat is not a issue down here in alabama. the cops dont care at all! haha so if yall could give me some advice or suggestions that would be great! thanks!

LT headers are better for low end torque..I'd go LT's with no cats. Don't do flowcrapsters...they are way overdone.
