Default rail isnt activating, injectors arent powering

my 88 f150 5.0 2wd xlt wont start. first my fuel rail wouldnt energize until I manually activated the relay. i replaced both relays, still woundnt energize. i put the old relay on and manully energized it and checked the rail pressure it was perfect just above 40psi. i check the spark plugs they were all getting spark. then i check the fuel injectors and they werent getting any power at all. i put some gas in the Throttle body and the engine turned on for a second. so everything is working except the relays wont turn on activating my fuel pump unless i manually tell it to and the fuel injectors are getting no current. me and my neighbor were thinking it could be due to the ecu not connecting properly there is some wires in my truck that just dont connect to anything with no terminators. any ideas?

Could also possibly be the throttle position sensor TPS. If it acts up, it can shut down the injectors. Just a possibility.

The ECM relay is what triggers the pump relay so it sounds like the ECM relay or possibly you have lost a ground.

Could also be a bad connection under the relay. You have to remove the box from it's holder, turn it over and remove the bottom to check. If all else fails.
