Default Radius Arm bushing replacement

I got a 92 2 wheel drive and the drivers side radius arm bushing needs to be replaced. I want to do the work myself, is there any tips or things i would need to know before i start the job. I was told that there should be enough play to pull the radius arm out when you unbolt it to slide the old one off and put the new one in but i have a feeling that its a bit more difficult then that. thanks.

Book says it's as simple as that.
