Was trying to get a opinion on my ECM .
Not sure if the pictures I took show anything but I am trying to find out if I need a ECM for my 92 Ford F-150 XLT lariat. It's a AHA module . I've noticed that 3 letters are the difference between the many of these.

Wanted to add that I am having a lot of trouble with it after warm-up. It will run good until it gets warm and then it has a rough idle. Shifts different than Cold. . automatic transmission. 5.0 engine.
Thanks for any help. I'm new to this. So please be patient with me .

Take a close look at the capacitors for leakage / corrosion. I can't see this clearly in your picture. If you find signs of leakage / corrosion (it will be obvious) replace the caps. You could get a kit of the correct caps for less than $20 not too long ago. When mine went bad I opted for a rebuilt ECM as I am not confident in my DIY soldering skills.
If you do not see obvious signs of leaking / corrosion put it back in the truck and drive.

The letters at the end of the PN are called the "suffix", and yes, that's how Ford PNs work. Google it.
Regardless what you can see around the capacitors, replace them. It can't hurt, as long as you install them correctly (same polarity).
