Lazarus-F150

After having looked at some other pics after posting the thread I completely agree with you.

Now I just need to decide whether to level the front with pucks or springs. I have been reading about some guys that use the moog front springs for an F250. Apparently they are a direct fit and give an extra ~2" height in the front. I have also looked at some Rough Country leveling springs (marketed to give a 1.5" level/lift). I hardly take the truck off-road, so I am thinking the F250 springs for better load tolerance since it sounds like the RC springs would be better for off-roading, but not as good for regular driving.

Anyone have any thoughts?

What rims do you have? Or what are the specs? Just got 33 12.5s today and they too rub pretty good on the radius arms.

To be honest I'm really not sure what the specs are. They are 15x10 but i don't know what the back spacing/offset is

I used the 250 springs in my truck. Fairly easy swap. Takes a few hours, and a good jack. They ride 100% better than old worn out springs.

I used the moog cc844 f250 springs on mine 93 4x4 and I've used the rough country ones before on my old 2wd 96 I got rid of a few years ago. This was a daily driver and saw little to no off road use and I was fine with the RC springs. Either one will be better than old worn out ones. I was originally looking to get the rough country ones for the 93 but the moogs were almost half the price on amazon with free shipping so I decided to give them a shot. Go with the moogs if you wanna save money and are looking to buy the springs new.

Any difference in street ride quality between the moogs and RCs?

beckula, is that ONLY a level? looks taller then just a level to me. looks great though.

The moogs feel stiffer than i remember the RCs being but I haven't had that truck in over 3 years. This could very well be a placebo effect because when I did my initial research the consensus was that any f250 springs will be stiffer than leveling springs designed for an f150 because they are designed that way. The 1993 is also an XLT 4x4 with sway bars so it rides completely different than my old XL. I will say that the 93 rides much better now than before but I changed the shocks at the same time so I can't really say how much is attributed to the springs.

Thanks. Yup, only a level on the 93. I took the stock chrome fender trim off and because the truck is black it gives the illusion that its higher...at least in photos.
