push button 4wd

i have a 95 eddie bauer ext cab 4x4 5,8 push button 4wd when i push the button at times just hear a click under pass side dash and does not engage

Maybe you should buy a chevy, since they dont offer a pushbutton 4x4.

I hate them damn push button transfer cases, give me a shifter lever. The motor for the shift mechanism is probably going bad or the mechanism needs to be lubed.

Its possible the connector on the shift mechanism motor could have been knocked loose from a limb or somethin(Ive seen that happen). I havent had any issues with mine so far.
