Default pro comp lift kit

Hey, I just got my 1993 f-150 4x4 extended cab and I found a 6 inch pro comp lift kit for $250 with shocks. This seems to be a good deal.
The ad said that it is for a 1980-1996 f150. Is there a difference between the models or the 2wd versus the 4wd. I just want to make sure it will work on my truck before I buy it. Are these hard to install and is there somewhere I can get the instructions for this kit. Thank you. Also would I have to do modifications for this install? Would the drive shaft have to be changed?

Here's the Web Site for Pro Comp. http://www.explorerprocomp.com/ Under the Tech tab, they have a download section. As for the 2wd vs. 4wd, I think there is a difference but I could be wrong. I had one of their kits on my Jeep and it was great quality. I would buy from them again. I would check on the 2wd/4wd before buying. Someone else may know the answer.

Here is another site that sells ProComp lift kits:
4x4 kits: http://www.4wheelonline.com/Categori...tegoryId=21830

4x2 kits: http://www.4wheelonline.com/Categori...tegoryId=21848

from the pics of the lift kits, I would say there is a difference between the 4x4 and 4x2 kits. You should definitely check with the seller of the kit to find out which one he has for sale.
