Got the springs back from the powder coating place... very pleased with how they turned out. Hopefully this keeps the rust off them for a few years

Got the radius arm brackets off the frame today... getting them removed from the radius arms is going to take some heat, which i was leery to do without confirming that the bushing kit i bought includes all the stuff ill be melting. So i will get them tomorrow evening.

Picked up a twisted wire brush for the grinder and some degreaser, so ima try to paint up a few things while i wait for parts to ship!

Great progress man.

It's definitely a lot easier to crack that big radius arm nut when it is still attached to the truck.

Great work, man!

Now, when you're finished with all of that, would you come down to Texas and do everything you just did to your truck to my truck? Thanks, buddy!!!!

Got the radius arm brackets removed and the bushings disassembled without too much pain. Id be interested in opinions on whether these brackets need replacing. Spent the remainder of the evening pounding out the back halves of rivets, which was especially tedious. With luck, cleaning up and painting this weekend

Did some cleaning up today on the frame where the brackets will go, figured i might as well paint some while i have it all apart. Went after it with the angle grinder/wire brush combo and some degreaser. I was only able to get the surface layer of rust and scale, so hopefully the rust reformer will take care of the rest. Also cleaned up the axle pivot bracket i accidentally removed.
