I want to put a posi rear on my 95 302 F150.
I DO have the 8.8", right?
I need some general advice? should I buy a whole axle, would it be possible to bput a fullu independant rear from something else in (what can I get from a junkyard that would work?)

get a used 8.8 Traction Lok off ebay, put in a new load spring, and double pack the clutches, hell if you want no slip, get an 03/04 Cobra clutch kit. The frictions are Carbon Fiber. The OEM limited slip unit is quite durable and SERVICEABLE....I cut 2.0 60ft times with a 3.73 gear on 245/45/17s at the track in my car...no fancy *** diff, just an OEM unit.

since most people associate a limited slip differential with the word "posi" (which it isnt) I had to degrade my intelligence to find you a part.
