93 F150 5.0 Idle Problem
Hi you all,
I Got a 1993 F-150 5.0 5 speed 4X4. The dang thing takes a notion once in a while to Idle really high and its' not the throttle cable binding up as it seems to be fine.
Also, I installed a new Idle speed control motor. I thought it fixed it at first, but now its back to the same ol thing.
No check engine light, No Obvious vacuum leaks.
Any ideas???

Well this is what I done. I took the throttle body off and installed a new TPS on it. Then I re-installed the unit with a new Throttle Body Gasket.
I also checked the PCV valve to see if it may be sticking, but it appeared fine.
The truck seems to be doing fine right now. Hope it lasts.
