I know this is dumb but IDK how to measure tires. Your truck looks like it has lots of clearance from the wheelwell though.

31 is how tall the tire is. like 31 inchs. and 10.50 is how wide it is. so that would be 10.5 inches wide. and the 15 is the size of the rim the tire is made for.

now tires that have the 265/70/15 writtin on them a a little different. the 265 is how tall. the 70 is the % of the 265, and is how wide the tire is. and of course the 15 is the size of the rim.(this is how i understand it, if i'm wrong someone please correct me)

i did have alot of clearance, i could have fit 33's with no problem. i might of been able to squeez some 35's with some trimming.

uh as far as i know you are wrong, but then i could be wrong.............

in your example the 265 is the width of the tire, and the 70 is the % of the 265 which equals the sidewall height.

if you were to install some 1 ton front springs, then get an alingment. 32-33" probably would clear. minus a little radius arm rubbing. if you get aftermarket wheels with more backspacing you may take care of the rubbing also. i put the 1 ton springs on my 92 4x4 w ext. cab short bed. wasnt very hard and gave my probably another inch or so. i think... not to stiff in my opinion. im looking for the same tire type.... but i have a bent up fender from a stupid deer. need to take care of that first.
