this part is leaking where from where it is supposed to be sealed, cannot find it anywhere, it there a way of resealing it?

Punch that part # into google and read all the posts you can find. I think there's a crossover part #.
What you (might) have there is a fuel delivery module ?
Is it on the frame ?
Anyway, it has a gasket or o-ring but if all else fails, RTX might seal it.

do not use rtv in contact with gasoline..
the part you are talking about is a frame mounted canister fuel filter. many fords from the 80s had these... theres an o-ring on the canister that gets tore. a new filter will have a new o-ring, so apply a light coat of vaseline to the ring before installing.
if the threads are stripped, crossthreaded, or cracked, you just need a new unit.
you could include a little more information when asking a question like this..
