Default Oxygen Sensor!!

Alright well I am not sure if any of you remember but i was having problems last week with my 5.0 hesitating real bad and a rough idle.. Well i finally gave up and took it the shop where they said it had a bad oxygen sensor and the IAC was bad. well $350 later she was running like a champ. Well now that I put about 250 miles on it all of a sudden driving down the road the check engine light pops on and the hesitation is back... What can cause the 02 sensor to go bad so quick... I will have her back at the shop first thing in the morning expecting her to be fixed up

you got screwed, dude... $100 parts and 15 minutes labor shouldn't equal $350.

Why not pull the codes yourself and see what it tells you? The o2 sensor code doesn't always mean the sensor is bad - it's usually telling you that something else is going wrong.

yeah dante, you was took. IAC = 2 scews & 10mins tops. They probably just sprayed some throttle body cleaner in the TB and IAC, AND THEN put some additive in the fuel. Parked it for you to pick up, then they'd wait for you to come back with the next problem... find a new mechanic or try to DIY
