I figured Id share on what i finally got done on this fine Sunday fathers day to some
I replaced both my rear u joints on my truck
fixed my new tach and its working properly is 50K revs idle speed?
relocated my missile switch to where the tank selector would be.
and took a nice cruse around the country not a bad fathers day for me even though I am not a daddy.

Five hundred thousand is pretty high. 700 is ideal.

That was my thought exactly. How high does it redline if 500k is the idle?

Fifty thousand is still too high. 5k is five thousand, just drop the k and you idle at 500 RPMs. The newer tachs don't show redline I'm guessing because they figured out the 5700 it's marked on older ones isn't the max you could go.

Your switch is where the 4x4 would be. Tank selector is next to headlights
