Default oil pressure gauge

all right i got a weird thing going here ive rebuilt both tranny and engine on my 96 f150 and the oil pressure gauge is still actin weird its find the first 20 min ur driving then it starts jumpin and eventruly it just stays all the way low but i know thats not right because i replaced the stock oil pump with a ford racing one and plus my truck would have died by now so is it the sending unit or what

Could just be the wires on the sensor. I've heard of them getting corroded and not reading right.

Try cleaning or replacing your sending unit. There's a good chance it's either got a bad/corroded connection or is plugged with goo released after you cleaned up the motor.
