I don't have an o2 after the cat .so I was wondering where the wire connects to the computer from tge sensor. Also, would having no cat still throw thqt code? Thanks for the help.

Not the stock exhaust i presume? Can you see any extra wires dangling down there?

rear 02 is 4 wires: red/light green, grey/red, red, white/black.

Yes sorry 96 f150 5 l. Lets say a couple years ago had to rip it out four wheeling as tge exhaust broke... But yes I need to find out where that wire leads to

It runs into the main loom then to the ecu. What are you trying to do?

honestly the rear one doesnt do much... just check condition of the Cat and isn't "Active"

if you don't have a Cat and you hook it up you may still have a CE-light....

So I should get a stock setup and o2 ti clear it. My goal is to clear that stupid light

The only way to clear it is to have a functioning cat or a simulator circuit. I've also heard about fooling the sensor with a spacer but I don't know that much about it. A good high flow cat isn't very expensive and will clean up the exhaust without effecting performance and turn off the light so you know of something else is wrong.
