Default no spark no injector pulse

I just bought a 92 f150 reg cab long box 5.0 e40d. I bought it with the tranny messed up you have to shift it through the gears manually, on my way home the truck sputtered a few times and then shut off and it just cranks i have fuel in the rails no spark from the coil and the injectors are not getting power can sombody point me in the right direction here?

I havnt checked for codes yet, but what could it be hasnt anybody had this problem before?

O and i took the dizzy cap off and there seems to be fine metal shavings in the bottom could the dizzy be my problem?
