No CEL??? I don't understand
Hello all,
No problems just curious,
Recently I've removed the two cat's within my exhaust system and replace them with Y-connector into 3" tube going to my 3" Magnaflow exhaust system....
When I did this two days ago, I removed the third O2 sensor by unplugging it at the connector and leaving it inside the "old" exhaust system. Currently I have the O2 sensors located in each left/right banks for fuel adjustment/curve but I do not have the third O2 sensor that was located after the cats....
I though I would get a CEL if I did this, but I didn't care and figure I would deal with it at a later time. But....I put 50 miles on my truck yesterday and I didn't get a CEL. I know it works, I see it every time (momentarily) when I start my truck...
any thoughts,

Not that I want a CEL, I'm just curious if this is a sign of a deeper issue. I have a drivability issue that I've posted on this sight.
One of the issues with the drivabilty is...I can't pull any codes from my OBDII. Well at least the scanner reports nothing.
Is this something of concern or I'm I just making a bigger deal out of nothing?
