I just purchased a 92 f150 4wd auto I was told it was a 302 I'm new here but I was wondering if anyone could tell me are there any differences to know for sure by looking at it. The truck is nice I've always wanted one and am in love, told the wide I'd marry the truck if she left

Also my front tank pumps but gauge is broke and my rear tank doesn't pump but shows over full when I switch any pointers

Congrats. Look on the intake, it will say 5.0 or 5.8 on the top. As for the tanks, I assume it still runs off the front it's just the gauge that doesn't work? It's most likely the sending unit on the pump. Mines the same way I just haven't got around to replacing it.

Rear pump probably needs replaced. When you do it get the tank straps and fuel filter too. 5.0=302 5.8=351
