LMAO Ive rebuilt the engine, transmission, new shocks, new brakes, new AC, not sure I gave major issues a chance.

great looking truck.

Not sure how you will take this but going to let you know I have read a lot of complaints about coil over shocks breaking the shock mounts.
Just would hate to see you end up with a problem with the truck after fixing so much.

Just a suggestion - you might want to think about replacing all the steel brake lines. Not very expensive, but really good insurance. They tend to let go on these older trucks if they're original.
Truck's looking good. I'm surprised at how much you're getting done in the time you've had it.

Looks like it 's coming along nicely. Where do you live so that thing's not rusted and rotted out? The sheet-metal is in really good shape, and the dash isn't cracked and busted from sun exposure either.

I KNOW RIGHT? So when I was looking for the new project truck I made sure that it didnt have any rust in the wheel wells or the rockers. I live in Florida and this truck was in a barn for the last 7 years or so. I lucked out on finding such a good solid platform to start on. Just plain lucky I guess. But Florida is a great place to find project cars. Mainly because there is no salt spraying on the roads and although there is a ton of rain, its not that bad on well cared for vehicles. Especially ones that are garage or (barn on that matter) kept.

This is my son's truck. Twin brother to yours. He took off the steps, lifted it 4" and put 35's under it. In case you were wondering what it would look like.
