I would think it should be a little cheaper though. Just for comparisons sake, I bought my truck with 140,000 miles on it for $2500. It's pretty clean too, interior is nice.

Code p0171 is just an o2 sensor code, bank one is too lean. Shouldn't be a big problem, but use that to help negotiate price, especially if he doesn't seem very mechanically inclined. Just pick the truck apart, but also note a few good things, like nice interior. I got my brother a pretty nice older acura for $1200 this way, $800 cheaper than asking price, which is big on such a cheap car.

Sweet truck Brandon! All in all though. You never know what kind of a deal you'll find on a truck.. Some can find a pickup sitting in there town some old farmer wants to get rid of for under a grand that most of us would throw 4k$ at quicker than you can say f150.. And some pay what others would think is a good deal or too much but it all depends on the area and what you've got infront of you.. Always try to get a good deal and make sure it's what you want and what your comfortable spending.. A lot of people will come look at some old busted up pickup sitting in your barn and not think it's worth you paying them to haul it off when others can't hand you a couple grand quick enough because that's what they want. I wouldn't let dings sway your judgement unless it's just ridiculous.. My truck has is fair share of dings on it but I use my truck to the fullest extent as a pickup truck and take care of it like somebody would there 2014 raptor.. Check it out real good and if there's more things your unhappy with than unhappy with then look at craigslist some more an be patient

Thanks! There are always more trucks out there, better ones too. I was lucky enough to buy mine from a lawyer who didn't think the truck was worth much, and in the last years he had this truck it was just a hunting truck, not used for anything else. It was replaced with a 2012 f150 platinum, that he uses, just to hunt.... So I agree, you never know what you'll find. But if I would recommend that drive train the truck has, a 95, or 96 5.8 ext cab 4x4. I prefer 96 because I like obd2.

Obd2 is always nice I'd love to find a nice extended cab like yours or f150 cams f250.. Drove my buddy's grey f150 extended cab and a backseat would be nice
