Question

I am not sure how much help this will be.....My wife's car had a similar issue, it turned out to be carbon buildup on the O2 sensor in the exhaust. It would be going fine (about 70 MPH), then it would loose power until the car slowed down and it cleared itself. I had the O2 sensor replaced (via suggestion from a buddy) and it has been working fine for about 2 months now.

My dad had a F250 a few years back and the same thing happened, it turned out that the fuel filter needed to be replaced.
