Unhappy Need help! not sure what the problem is =/ 1987 f150

All-right so a couple days ago, I bought a 1987 f150 with a 302 and a 4 speed manual transmission. It had been sitting for almost 2 years. it did not start when I bought it but I changed all the plugs and wires, distributor cap, battery, and the fuel pump in the back tank as the front tank doesn't work right now ( switch is broken I think) so when I was changing the fuel pump I dumped any old gas out of the tank and replaced it with brand new gas. the truck started up almost instantly after all this and ran decently enough for about 2-3 days. I noticed it was low on power however and I changed the oil/ oil filter and put antifreeze in it as I found out it barely had any. after topping up the anti freeze it ran great. I had power again and it seemed to be in really good running order. however later that night I fired up my truck as I was headed out to pick up my girlfriend and the truck died just down the street from my house. now it will only run for a short while 1-2 minutes then it bogs down and idles at about 500 for a couple seconds and it dies. it will crank after that but wont stay running, if I wait about 10 minutes it will fire up again but only to die a couple minutes later. I'm stumped as to what the issue is because when it fires up it does so instantly and idles fine, revs up fine and I can start driving with no issues but then it just dies like 50 feet down the road. and I have to wait 10 minutes before it will start again just to again die a couple minutes later.

Your truck has three fuel pumps.

I'm saying it may not be getting enough fuel. Check the pressure. It's under the driver on the frame.
