Default need HELP! fuel pump

i have a 91 f150 xlt lariat. it has the 302 v8 in it. now for some reason the fuel pump stopped working. it doesn't make any noise when i turn the key. one thing i noticed tho is that before the pump stopped working the battery was a little bit low. can that cause it to stop working? i tried to find any blown out fuse but couldn't find any. what happened was, i went to start it and it fired up with no problem and like a few seconds later it stalled. after that it was a little bit hard to start but it started again, and it didn't stall. but when i turned it of and started it another time, wouldn't start. i didn't hear the fuel pump turn on. and then i noticed the battery was low. i tried to charge the battery, but the pump didn't turn on. so could the battery be the problem? because i really don't wanna pull the tank off. that would be a pain in the

Wouldn't start as in the starter would not turn it over, or the starter was going full blast and the engine was not lighting off?

Unfortunately we need the pump to prime the engine (2-3 seconds). Then another circuit will run the pump continuously. Charge the battery (am concerned with "the battery was low"). Believe pump is at fault.

I had problems with my fuel pump when I first got my truck. Long story short I found that the terminals on the fuel pump were coroded. Had to clean them off regularly so the pump would keep working. Finally soldered on some bullet type connectors and covered them with silicone grease. No problems since.

if you got a test light just see if you've got power back there since you know were the wires are and that the connections are good. if you got power its probably the pump

also how can i test to see if the fuel pump works. what I'm saying is how can i energize its to see if it works? because i think there maybe a problem in the circuit and not the pump, because the wires look bare and all rusty. and i have now idea where the fuse is for the pump.
