Default Need accordian section of frame horns, ky.

Located in eliabethtown ky. Im needing the accordian section (front frame horns) for my 96 early body f150. Anyone have a good set by chance? Local pull a parts wont allow power tools. Dusch bags...

Ps will pay shipping if you send em to me. Need from tip to far back as possible. Maybe a foot and a half to 2 feet maybe?

You can't find a yard that will cut them off for you? Even if you have to go somewhere other than u-pull-it, it may be cheaper than cost plus shipping.

Can you sneak in a battery operated saw-zall and a bunch of charged batteries?

Hmm maybe but i doubt it. Most places around here are straight they pull u pay kinda thing. Only place i know of u pull at is pull-a-part in louisville but again no power tools. I guess thats how they keep theyre prices so cheap.

That's strange. The u-pull-it here has cars with whole sections cut off, and they don't cut them off. I'd at least ask them if you could use a battery saw, I barely consider it a power saw.

Think i could get through the frame with a sawzall? Should I get a bi-metal blade with more or less teeth for ease of cutting? ANd on a complete side note you know anything about paint/body?

I've cut through frames with a sawzall, it works just fine. Use a metal blade with more teeth. I've done my share of body work. If you look in my "accident" album you'll see a small sample of what I've done.
