Ok guys here is the down and dirty of what I'm up to this winter. I'm taking the red 92 f250 frame and running gears and putting the tan and black 96 f150 body onto it.
The 96 body is solid and just repainted, all the lights are new trim pieces replaced. The interior is in awsome shape, it has a new radio, speakers, amp and two 10in subs, all kenwood.
The running gears are a full floater 10.25 rear, Dana 50 front with an air locker and c6 trans. The engine is getting build now. A 351w bored 40over worked over heads, torque spec cam, rpm performer intake and holly carb.

It's a ground up build. Here are some pics until this week.

Last weekend I painted the frame and axles. And this week got all the parts to rebuild the rear axle and rear brakes. (E-brake cables, wheel cylinders, springs, adjusters, drums, shoes, axle bearings and seals) Also a new set of Patriot aluminum heads, all four shocks, and new motor and trans mounts. It's comming along. And If your wondering Yes that is a motorcycle and a beer tree in my living room, One of the up sides of being single.

This past week I rebuilt the rear end, all new bearings, seals, gaskets and everything to do with the brakes.
I also got the short block back from the engine shop. I Installed the cam, timing chain set, timing chain cover, oil pump, and oil pan. I also had the C6 trans rebuild this week. I'm hoping to have the motor, and trans on the frame next weekend. Here are some more pics.

i just did most of that within the past few months to my rig. nothing that exstensive to the motor. but rebuilt axles and all new pretty much every thing on the frame except body motor and tranny. its amazing what a little elbow grease and some paint will do

I wish i was able to rebuild from the frame, living in an apartment doesn't give me that luxury. Soon enough I will have a house with neighbors who don't understand my love for my truck . At least the wife does! hehe

Keep us posted!
