my 92 f150 shift really hard sometimes
i was just wondering, i have a 92 f150, 5.8 with an automatic tranny, when the truck shifts gears, sometimes it feels like the transmissions gonna break, it feels like a big jolt when it shifts. can anyone pinpoint this problem or anyone else has this problem?

Had a fuse blow (no odometer and such) once and that same fuse controlled the shifting... and it threw my head into the back glass (single cab truck) when it went into second. Simple/cheap things to look at first: Fuses, Tranny fluid level... Let me know if I've helped at all, so someone more knowledgeable will chime in and get you back to sweet shifting.

does your overdrive light flash on and off or anything like that? if it does, then it could be the throttle position sensor OR the speed sensor on top of the rear end.... im not that familiar with your truck, but i figured i'd give it a shot at trying....
