Default Front rotor assembly getting extremely hot

My brother has a 1992 f150 4x4 with a 5.0. His break rotor is getting extremely hot. The hub was coming out but that was because the retaining rings that came with the hubs were wrong. If you drive the truck mabye a mile his driver side rotor and hub gets hot. We have change the inside and out bearings, pads, cailper, rotor and it's still getting hot. Does anyone know what the problem could be.

Either a sticky caliper or you need to grease the hub bearing big time.

We changed the rotor yesturday and it still is dragging the pads. You can tell the old rotor was alittle warped but barely. It atcually is creating more heat since we changed the rotor. I was wondering if it might be something dealing with the abs or the proportioning valve. I have also changed the master cylinder but someone told me that the proportioning valve could be screwed up. The master cylinder is about 6 months old. The hubs are 3 months old. The bearings, pads, rotor, and cailper is a week old. So something is not making since. Everything that was suppose to be greased was greased right and has enough grease. Thanks for posting some ideas already.

The abs is for the back brakes not front. Could be the valve but if the pads are scraping the rotor they need to be wore in since the old rotor was warped. jack the wheel up and spin that tire and listen. See if you can hear anything scraping. Take the tire off and have some push on the brakes and watch the pads. See if they are sticking.
