Default Mustang Intanke Manifold and TPS on F150 5.0?

I have a 95 F150 5.0 and was wondering if the TPS off of a 95 5.0 Mustang TB work with the F150 wireing and ECM? Id like to convert my set up to a Mustang set up, manifold,tb, and tps. more hp/tq gains can be achieved this way and there are more parts to choose from, and are easier to find. i can get a 61mm BBK tb for my truck but they offer bigger tb for the mustang and since more air equals more fuel that equals more power.

I believe the tps should work, but you must have mass air in your truck for the mustang stuff to work.

I do have mass air. does the mass air flow sensor have to be matched with the TB size? Or does the comp. adjust automatically thru th o2 sensor?

If anyone cares to know, i found on www.rockauto.com that the TPS from a 93 mustang 5.0 and a 95 F150 5.0 are excatly the same. Still wondering if it will work with the ecm with a different TB size, id like to go with a 75mm at least but not sure. any ideas anyone?

pretty sure mustang intake manifold is shorter and delivers less torque so i wouldnt do it. i heard mustang owners put our manifolds on for more torque.

The ecu will compensate for the different tb\mass air sizes, the hi po mustang manifolds are actually based on the truck lower, so keep the truck manifold and find a larger throttle body, but you should also find a better flowing mass air sensor for the bigger tb. They all should be matched to get the best performance.

just swap the ECU....the mustang has better curves for timing and better fuel mapping...keep the manifold and TPS as it is.. the Mustang units are smaller..
