Default Motor Mounts

I have a 94' with the 300 and 5sp 4x4 and need to do the motor mounts, the fan is below the bottom of the shroud now. Is there any special tools need for the job besides a hoist? Could someone elaborate a little more on the process because my service manual says lift engine, remove old mount, install new one, rear boltin engine.

thats about all there is to it .. you can either hoist it or jack it up. if you jack it i would use a 2x4 to put between your jack and the oil pan

Do yourself a big favor though, I have a 94 with the same motor, and depending on the year, it may have the mounts of a 93 on it like mine did. Mine was made in November of 93, but it's counted as a 94 model, so a lot of my parts are mixed between the two years. Look on the door sticker, if it was build in 93, or you see that the mounts are round, get the 93 mounts, if they are square mounts, then get the 94 mounts. Avrage price is 20-40 per mount, and there's only 2. The manual is actually very literal about how to install them also. There are no special tools needed.
